Die-cutting

What is the difference between punching and cutting?

The processes are the same, but after punching, the semi-finished product consists of the parts that come out of the sheet material. In punching, it is the expressed parts that go to waste. With punching, the sheet metal is also the final product.

Holes, contours, indentations or thread taps are cut out of sheet metal.
De Vroe metaalbewerking has various press machines for punching metal.
These are suitable for large series.
We can also produce series that require a lot of subsequent operations in a tool, due to the great complexity of the operations on a product.
The capacity for metal stamping ranges from 15 tons to 300 tons of pressing force. Hydraulic presses are available, as well as presses with an automated platinum feed.

At De Vroe Metaalwerking, molds are developed in consultation with the customer so that the customer’s needs are optimally met.

Markets for punching and pressing:

Furniture fittings, mechanical parts, automotive, industry, construction etc.

At De Vroe metaalbewerking, moulds are developed in consultation with the customer in our own research and development department so that the customer’s needs are best met.

The quality of the stamping work is partly determined by the use of purely custom-made dies. Because De Vroe Metaalbewerking develops its own dies, we can guarantee superior quality and follow-up.

Our mould construction is especially designed for typesetting, pressing, bending, etc. that are not possible on conventional machines. This is one of the great strengths of de Vroe Metaalbewerking.
